Togolese Passport
The Togolese passport is issued by the Direction Générale de la Documentation Nationale (DGDN). Unlike the National Identity Card, passport applications can now be submitted online, through the DGDN's dedicated platform.
The online process
- Fill out the online form at services.dgdn.gouv.tg
- Pay the fees via Flooz, TMoney, Visa, or Mastercard
- Download and print two copies of the application form and payment receipt
- Submit the physical file at the DGDN office in Lomé
Filing hours
Files are accepted Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Required documents (first application)
- Birth certificate or court judgment in lieu thereof
- Valid National Identity Card (CNI)
- Recent biometric ID photos
- Completed and printed online form
- Printed payment receipt
Cost
The standard Togolese passport costs 30,000 FCFA.
Processing time
The minimum processing time is approximately two weeks after filing a complete application.
Validity
The standard Togolese passport is valid for 5 years.
