Geography
Covering an area of 28 km², the commune benefits from a key location on one of the country's main road corridors.
Demographics
At the November 2022 census (RGPH-5), the commune had 125,097 residents (60,765 men and 64,332 women) in 20 neighbourhoods, 5.7% of Greater Lomé. The most populous are Kohe (12,626), Zopomahe (12,497), Sanyrako (10,285).

The commune comprises 19 villages.
Note: The name "Vakpossito" was mistakenly associated with this commune in an earlier version of this page. Vakpossito is in fact the seat of Agoè-Nyivé 3 commune.

Agoè-Nyivé 5 combines a residential function with a commercial and logistical crossroads role thanks to its position on the busy Lomé-Kpalimé corridor linking the capital to Togo's interior regions.
