Kélégouvi — The National Stadium District

The Kélégouvi district, often identified by the presence of Kégué Stadium, is one of the eight districts making up Golfe 3 commune.

Kégué Stadium

Located on Avenue Jean-Paul II, Kégué Stadium is a multi-use venue with a capacity of 25,000, featuring a natural grass pitch. Opened in 2000, it was designed by Chinese architect Yang Zhou.

Home of the national team

The stadium is now used mostly for football matches, and is the home ground of Togo's national team. It notably hosted the 2007 African U-17 Championship as its main venue.

Golfe 3 commune

Golfe 3 commune, one of the largest communes in the city center, was created by presidential decree on December 20, 2017. It is led by mayor Kamal Alawo Adjayi and has an estimated population between 100,001 and 150,000 inhabitants.
